I am a mother to two amazing children.  A boy called Yousef and a girl called Kenz.  And as with every mom I know, they totally flipped my world around.  And I mean that in every way possible.  It took me a long time to figure out my role, a long time to figure out the kind of mom I want to be.  It also took me some time to figure out how to be a mom at all, yet still also be me.

So who am I?  I'm someone that loves to travel, loves food and stylish things.  I value my marriage, my friendships, and I'm a pretty hands on mom.  I am not the craftiest mom out there but I would like to think that I do expose my kids to some pretty special experiences and fun things to do.  I've been told that I'm a good source for travel and shopping tips.  And I've realised that my 'me time' often involves me surfing the net trying to find cool things for myself or for my kids to do, wear, read etc.

Tickle My Fancy started out as a blog where I just shared anything that I found interesting.  I will continue to do that but more along the lines of what I find interesting or inspiring as a mom.  That's not to say that every post will be purely mommy / child related.  It will be about anything that makes us moms have a better day.
